SHAWNIGAN LAKE - TRANS CANADA TRAIL

The Trans Canada Trail skirts the western side of Shawnigan Lake,
though Duncan and the Cowichan Valley, then north to Nanaimo

Kinsol Trestle - Shawnigan Lake - Trans Canada Trail

Koksilah River Provincial Park, 4km down Renfrew Road, north
end of Shawnigan Lake, is the bypass route for the Kinsol Trestle
section of the Trans Canada Trail just north of Shawnigan Lake.

Access to the Trans Canada Trail can be found near the end of
Sooke Lake Road at the Southern end of Shawnigan Lake. Turn off the
Malahat Drive (Hwy 1) at the Shawnigan Lake Rd. (South) turn off.
Sooke Lake Rd. left hand side just before West Shawnigan Lake Rd.
