Not to be missed when visiting Saltspring Island, the views of Vancouver
Island, and the Gulf Islands from Mount Maxwell Park are spectacular.

Camping is not allowed at Mount Maxwell Provincial Park as it is a day
use only park. Regardless the views alone are well worth the somewhat
bumpy ride to the highest point on Saltspring Island. Picnic among the
large shady old-growth Douglas firs. The road up is steep and rough
in spots and not recommended for heavy recreational vehicles.

Mount Maxwell Park can be found off Ganges Road just before reaching
Ganges Harbour, signs along the way will prompt you onto Cranberry Road
follow this road then turn left at the junction with Mount Maxwell Road.
